| 2. Successful Transition. Some executives tend to stay with a company because they are uncertain about what to do in retirement. LifeShift prepares more mature executives for the shift to retirement with a revised identity and a plan for the Active Living phase of retirement. If a late-stage executive is able to leave the company six months or a year earlier than planned, the company experiences a savings and the executive is satisfied as well. 3. Succession Planning. Senior executives who participate in LifeShift are much more likely to mentor younger employees moving into senior roles instead of blocking them from moving up the corporate ladder. The company is able to retain its corporate knowledge and is stronger because of the smooth transition. |
